Evander Holyfield got his ear bitten off for head butting, not saying its justified, it isnt but why arent people taking the headbutt into account. Had that connected with Floyd, it could have been something potentially life threatening, thats why he was pissed off, you can clearly see it.

The ref pulls them apart and floyds face goes from

    :fire

Seriously the headbutt wasnt even a let me through a jab and pretend to come in headbut, it was an F U headbutt, wouldnt you be pissed off to, agreed it was a cheap shot (EVEN THOUGH, time was in) but still how can people not understand why the guy would be pissed.

It is okay to be classless if your opponent is classless!!!!

If he headbutts you, you sucker punch him!

If he pulls a gun at you, you massacre his entire family!

I am sure that it is the way it should be. Like Godfather 5.

If you pay attention, every time they went to the ropes, Floyd was holding Ortiz left arm and Ortiz was roughing with his head to try to break loose.

It happens in a lot of fights and refs seem to allow it in most cases, although holding and butting are both illegal.

Floyd takes it up a notch by adding the "my left elbow in your face while Im holding your left hand" business.

It happens in most Floyd fights, and happened quite a bit in the Ortiz fight.

The headbutt was much worse IMO. A headbutt can cause a lot of damage. A gloved hand is what you're supposed to hit people with in boxing. Funny how Ortiz took a load of Maidana's punches & Berto's punches but couldn't take Floyds.

So are you trying to justify the headbutt?

Holding and launching your body headfirst into someone is on the same level now?

They were both dirty, Mayweather was trying his forearm of doom, literally right before the headbutt. Two wrongs, don't make a right, just the way it is.

i actually don't have a big problem with the whole forehead pinning thing...but ortiz was raking his head back and forth across floyd's face before the rocket to the moon head butt

ortiz wanted a dirty fight he got a dirty fight. honestly i think ortiz basically quit. he got so frustrated and head butted him. after that didnt work at all he was like oh **** i better say sry because im completely getting owned and i dont kno wut 2 do and was basically thinkin **** it im bout to get paid when this ends cash my 2.5 mill check n get outta here. when he got hit the first time he was fine instead he wants to look at the ref instead of defend himself. then floyd hits him he goes down he pretends to be just completely dazed and outta of it when we all kno floyd dont got that kinda power. berto hit him harder when he tasted the canvas in that wild rd where ortiz ended up knocking him down at the end of the round.

by a fighter gettin there biggest pay day ever when fighting floyd makes u give up easier cuz when ur gettin completely outclassed n gettin ur ears boxed off ur just like **** it hes not that powerfull im just keep at this floyd pace n get outta here ok n cash my check.

thats y he need to fight manny because they both get paid major league money n it will both be there biggest pay days n that wont be an advantage for floyd

This is not how champions should conduct themselves.

    Headbutt or sucker punch...

I'm sure if Maidana hit him twice while he had his guard down & wasn't expecting it, he'd have been in a coma for a week.
