I believe Chad told the ref in the 1st rd I wonder why the hell the whole fight was taken off you tube .. But Chad did let the ref know he was being pushed down before the final incident ..I looked for the full fight but its no where to be found :think
The one time I ever tried to talk to you about Hopkins' career as a whole, you quoted and responded by throwing an insult at me which likely originated in a middle school womens' locker room. You read what you want to read, you think what you want to think, and you care far too much about one mans' career. Eventually, Hopkins will retire and you will need to find someone else to talk about and someone else to use as a means of provoking other posters when they say things you don't agree with. Not in terms of the context of your posts, but you are an immature poster.
Cannibus is pulling a classic move which is most commonly and most recently used by fans of Mayweather and Pacquiao, where they say the exact same things that the fighters themselves said, the promotional team came up with, or in this case, quoting Hopkins' entrance song. Doing it his way, huh? Like, unique to Hopkins? Clearly, there is only one Bernard Hopkins. So, yes, he did it his way. Just like there is only one Malignaggi. Paulie did it Paulie's way. Just like there is only one Abner Mares. Mares did things the Mares way.
Dawson was just being dirty in a very conspicuous way. Hopkins is a little dirty here, and there, but if you saw his hands they would appear clean. Dawson just stuck his whole damn head in the mud puddle and then cries about it.
You mad. Like I said Hopkins hater, IF dawson wins I'll give him his credit and I'm not taking it serious as your ass is. Just make sure give Hopkins his due if he wins since according you(because you claim to be the so called expert) Hopkins has beat Dawson to be this atg, event though he's already proved it.
Way I saw it, Hopkins got into Dawsons head and frustrated him before the fight even started it was obvious Dawson was fighting more agressive than usual. Close first round Dawson as the agressor, but as physically superior as he is mentally it looked like it to me he wanted to hurt Bhops any way possible. I think Hopkins original plan was to frustrate Dawson and feed off his mistakes, but it kinda backfired and didn't work out like he planned. This fight if it turns out how I think it might is gonna be close. Dawson pumping that jab and powerful straight lefts, win early rounds, but Hopkins might figure him out mid to late fight and slow him down with bodyshots and a sneaky perfectly timed shot here and there. It should make up for the first one.
I'm really looking forward to the rematch this weekend. I don't for one minute think it will be an entertaining fight, but I don't think Hopkins will go down without a fight. Hopkins has a history of feigning, which is why nobody really believed he was injured. However, I can't see why he would quit, only to sign for a rematch meaning he is even older by the time he steps foot in the ring again. My guess is Dawson takes a close but clear UD. Hopkins may talk about a trilogy or other notable fights, but it could very well be his last.
