i've got a great deal of respect for what Hopkins has achieved, but he's so arrogant he won't be able to accept a one sided ass whooping, hence I think he'll go for the DQ. A close decision loss he can explain away, which he often has.

 

Yeah I could see Hopkins trying to get himself DQ'd or get Dawson DQ'd, because if he doesn't he is going to get beat by clear, wide, decision.

 

Hopkins is playing mind games with him. This is so Dawson doesn't have anything to feed off and also to make Dawson and Gary Shaw think that he's scared(make Dawson overconfident) and is gonna try to get out of the fight, than he's gonna shock everyone again. Hopkins has a lot of pride you don't embarrass a man like Bernard, if your smart. Hopkins is furious with Dawson, thats why he won't do the Face off.

Some people make mistakes and get sloppy when the get mad. Others like Hopkins it helps thier focus and makes them even more dangerous. Same was true with Michael Jordan or Larry Bird. I exspect to see Hopkins to be at the top of his game you don't trash talk him. Look what happend to Pascal.

Hopkins is a 47 year old man, simple as that...he loses this fight, unless he fakes another injury or some other bs type circumstance. No way he beats Dawson clean, he's too fast, too strong, too skilled.
