    One thing for those touting Bisping's superior striking to consider is that he never had Chael backpedalling at any stage. He never established a range, he was always trying to fight Chael off him or keep him trapped against the cage. He never made Chael hesitant to come forward and attack.

    To be fair though Bisping is always fighting off the back foot. Not too many times I've seen him trade with anyone or stand in range always moving back. I did expect a bit more from him against Sonnen though. His striking isn't great but its very effective in terms of winning rounds.
