Mid to late round stoppage (8th onwards) for Green -I see Green tagging RJJ early with his jab and RJJ going into his shell, showing brief spurts of his previous speed but unable to sustain it and the ref stopping it after RJJ absorbs too much punishment.

I do not see RJJ dropping Green, I do not see RJJ KOing Green.

Green might have come out of retirement for $$$, but he will still want a win against RJJ.

i think roy by very comfortable decision, but by the way green was getting hit flush and often by that last bum he fought it wouldnt surprise me if jones managed to stop him

 

No, I think it will either be a Green stoppage as described or a Roy points victory, but it depends on how hungry Green is, and if Roy can keep him off him for 12 rounds.

If Green can monster Roy and hurt him early with his jab or a big shot, I think RJJ will go into his shell - look what he did against the light-hitting Calzaghe - I know, Calzaghe is obviously a far greater fighter than Green, but if Roy went into his shell after Calzaghe started touching him up, imagine what a good solid hit from Green early on might make him do...

Serious though Mutt i think Calzaghe's combinations ****ed Lacy & Jones up , do you reckon Greenie could land at will on Jones like Calzaghe did ? Big ask but who knows if like you say Jones gets clocked or cut early , has Danny the stamina to up the tempo and sustain it ? i think not but here in 09 who knows ? hope the fight comes off down under as it blows anything Mandy has done within recent memory away in an instant .
