Agreed, this is like the second coming of Prime Tyson, only at welterweight, Pac is a once in about 5 lifetimes fighter. It would take more than Mayweather's offense to beat him. The only chance Mayweather has to survive is to give away rounds like Clottey because if he mixes it up with this beast , he's gone.

This fight has no bearing on how I feel a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight would go.

For the last time Pac won't throw 1200 punches against PBF. Quit saying it. It makes you sound like you don't know **** about the sport.:-( Pac's workrate will drop against PBF he won't even throw half that amount of punches because PBF won't be there. PBF is a defensive wizard his opponents workrate and connect percentage always drop against him.

:huh

When has Pac thorwn that many in a fight. He threw that many because of Clottey's defense. He tried to break it. But did not look like Pac tired much after throwing more than 1200 punches and taking some. Goodluck to Floydie.

Don't worry mate, I still pick Floyd by pot-shotting and winning via UD (even catching Pac and win by tko).

I think Floyd will fight like Clottey, trying not to be knocked out, but making a few adjustments. There were some points where Clottey tried to be aggressive, but he was thrown away with a lot of combinations.

I think Pac/PBF will be a boring fight, with PBF trying to look for a lucky shot.

Thinking about it for me becomes simple, Manny will still land more i feel, even doe Floyd will land the cleaner punches. But i think Manny is smarter than people think and would cover up more and time his attacks well vs Floyd.

Judges will give a close fight to Manny in my view.

I just want to see the damm fight.

The fight last night makes no difference to how a fight with Mayweather would go and it was obvious from when the fight was first made how it would go to anyone who had seen Clottey fight before, I did say so before the fight if anyone doubts it > http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5985133&postcount=14

Pacquiao throwing 1,200 was because Clottey's style allowed him too, Mayweather isn't going to stand there and let Pac rack up the points while hiding behind his high guard either, at the same time Pacquiao isn't going to be as open as he was last night as he's going to be more cautious about Mayweather's speed.

I can see Pacquiao's punch output dropping to half what he threw last night against Mayweather, he will start off with a high punch output but when he starts getting counter punched cleanly with every flurry he throws his average will drop down as he tries to change plan.

Mayweather 8-4 UD.

PBF will be too cautious for a KO.
Pac UD or SD.

Pac outworking Floyd, but Floyd probably forced to fight since he won't be in his comfort zone, but I think he might land the cleaner punches. We might probably see a side of Floyd not yet seen simply for the reason no one has ever pushed him this hard so we might get to see the best of both. Manny by SD over Floyd in a modern day version of Duran-Leonard I.

One thing I will point out tho. Both these guys are amazingly fast so whether one has the other one hurt or in trouble, a stoppage would not be out of the question. I still like Manny to beat Floyd. Rare combination of speed, power, and volume punching.

After the Clottey fight, I am seeing the Floyd - Pac match up similar to Hopkins - Calzaghe fight.

Pacquaio has proven he has more explosive power which can not only hurt , but can also grind down his opposition through out the fight, and can throw away 100 power punches per round without showing any stamina problem against someone who used his arms and hands to protect himself.

Void, Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to fight Pac, right after Pac stopped Cotto.

Void will never fight Pac, but I think Mosley would. Void is void. Void fans hate Pac because Pac made Void run an hide, make up lies. Void, Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to fight Pac, right after Pac stopped Cotto, after that they went on a negative campaign to discredit Pac, claiming that Pac was a druggie, with zero proof of such.
