There's a first time for everything. :deal It's just meant as a joke even though a lot of the UFC fans type a lot of junk and mean it in the boxing forums it's about time someone posted something in return. I assure you though if something like that happened in boxing you would see floods of threads by MMA fans in boxing forums.
It's no big deal that Lesnar is the UFC champ at the moment. It's a bit of a bummer to see him KO Couture to get there - but that's the way things go sometimes. Lesnar has real wrestling credentials and has been training with a strong MMA team to learn the sport. If he stays on this track - he can only improve exponentially.
Chuck Liddel was an accountant prior to beginning his MMA career. Rich Franklin was a Teacher. Brock Lesnar was a Pro Wrestler/Entertainer. Accountant Teacher Professional Wrestler If you had to pick 1 person from the above 3 professions to take a guy, and make a MMA Fighter out of him.....which profession would you pick???
that only thing that pisses me off is that they gave randy his belt back. he handnt faught in 15 months if you dont defend in a year your supose to be striped. frank mir was. so randy shoulndt have even had the belt for lesnar to take. if not for that fact i would be fine with it. nog is the true ufc hw champ.
I agree Randys my favorite but id have said **** you you are not above the UFC strip the belt and do things the correct way. Like you said Mir stays with the company and gets stripped in about less then a year after the injury Randy leaves completly and gets to keep it I dont like it. I kinda feel bad for Mir wasnt even a year ago hes tapping Brock out and now he may not even get a title shot while Brock is already the Champion. Kinda sucks a guy won a Heavyweight Championship never once defended it beat the current Champ but may never get the shot.
I believe the real reason was legalities, when the court thing was going on if the UFC would have stripped him of his belt he would have been able to get out the contract easier. That's why Nog has the "interm belt" right now. With this mini tourny anyhow things will be sorted out.
Not bad at all, thanks for asking, he is a real athlete who was at the top of college HW wrestling did WWE and even tried out for an NFL team. The guy is a freak of an athlete and with his popularity from the WWE the UFC can only grow even more. How does it feel to have a sport that charges 54.95 to watch Golata-vs Austin. MMA is still growing and boxing is slowly bleeding itself away. Check how many new MMA gyms have opened up in the last year and how many boxing gyms have opened.....you prob won't believe it How does it feel to have most of your sports big names over the hill and/or close to retiring...Jones,Hopkins,ODL,Tarver,winky,Holyfield,Toney, Vitali and even Calzaghe doesn't know his future and your boy Mayweather doesn't give a ****. So Scar...how does that feel?
