All the crying about how Alvarez has to make 152, yet no one mentions that the smaller man has to move up 5. I am quite sure we can all agree that 147 is Floyd's best weight. Yeah he fought Oscar and Cotto at 154 but those were not his best performances. I reckon Floyd would of performed much better against those guys at 147.

So if 152 is not Alvarez best weight then its not Floyd's either. So I do believe that evens things out. Not to mention Saul will be a good 15 pounds bigger than Floyd on fight night. So seriously the crying for Canelo needs to stop because when it comes to weight, it is Floyd at a disadvantage, aint no if, and, or buts about it.

It's not really an advantage, haters just like to find any reason to discredit Mayweather for his brilliant career.

Yes they do, they even find a way to discredit the 41 million he about to make for this fight, claiming he will have to pay higher taxes, as if thats not normal :blood

i guess its because he called pacquiao on it, called cotto drained etc, so now that he's doing the same thing it's kinda weird and hypocritical

When did Floyd ask for a catchweight? I'm pretty sure it was Canelo's team offering a catchweight to fight Mayweather.

If he wanted to drain Canelo then wouldn't the fight be at 147 or 150 at the most? 152 is only one pound less than the 153 he weighed in against Austin Trout.

    You're right !!

It was canelo who demanded to come in lighter even though he already has to shed over 20lbs to make weight- he would actually prefer to shed 22lbs instead

and all that **** that floyd said about a guy being at a disadvantage by being made to drain ?

Yeah well forget all that, he was just joking.

Mayweather fought twice at the full limit of 154 against Cotto & De La Hoya. Now he wants to do a catchweight against Alvarez...
