I keep hearing how strong Margo is, and he is, how good a chin he has and yes, he has a hell of a chin but how do you guys see him being able to run Pac down?

I don't think he can hang with Pac's lateral movement and that will be the difference in the fight. He needs his feet set to throw, he is good comming forward but if Pac turns him, and he will I just don't see him winning the fight.

You could say stamina and pressure could get to Pac but I haven't seen it yet. So, those of you that think Margo is going to win, do you think it is because he will walk Pac down or do you have another reason?

Margarito couldn't handle the speed and movement of a 38-year old Mosley, no way he handles the movement of a prime Pacquaio.

if he clinches Margarito he will get tired from that, but to answer the authors question, IMO he is going to have to take a page out of Lennox Lewis book, anytime Manny gets under him he should lean on him the way Lennox did to alot of opponents if he does that right, it will disrupt Mannys rythem and perhaps not only wear him down but also discourage him..

Good point, Pacman can't do his nor muscle Margarito around on the inside.

I think that the pressure and movement will eventually catch up to Pacman. We haven't seen Pac pressed in the way that Margarito will. Clottey came forward with a high guard, but didn't throw enough. Garcia says that he is showing Margarito new things, and I expect it to pay off. This won't be the Margarito of old, on Saturday night we will see him use timing and he will be cutting the ring off more effectively. It would be very unwise for Pacman to lay on the ropes and let Margarito bang away.

All in all, I think that the pressure will get to Pacman. He can't muscle the man and move him on the inside, that is not his style. In the process Pacman will exert too much energy, begin to slow down, and catch too many shots late for his own good. If he can last the distance, he will most likely have earned a decision, but he will go through hell getting there. Like I mentioned last night, Margarito stopped Cintron on a bodyshot. These will pay off in exchanges and in the later rounds.

    Margarito TKO10.

Indeed it wouldnt be the first time a slower plodding fighter beat a much faster and more mobile opponent and it wouldnt be the last but it will not happen this saturday.

cottos fatal mistake in that fight refusing to clinch. Things might have been different should he have done that

Cottoe doesn't know how to clinch for ****. He should have done it on the smaller emmanuel, but he didn't.

I don't think Pac does either. If Margarito is able to land some well placed shots in the first 6 rounds or so, Pacman will start to wear down round by round.

That is plausable, but I don't think Pac has to muscle him on the inside and I think expecting a new and improved Margo at this point is a bit much. I don't see him being crafty enough to time Pac but we shall see right. Margo would have to get Pac up against the ropes for your scenario to happen and I don't see that. I think this fight takes place in the center of the ring.
