So how is Margorito supposed to deal with Pac's speed and movement?

That and not going straight back until he was on the ropes. He couldn't have played to margo's strengths anymore if he tried.

I have a feeling this will be Pac-David Diaz all over again.

if you watch Margaritos fights with Cinton, Cotto even Williams and Santos he knows how to use his range and beleive when Manny is in range your going to see that. I am just hoping no clash of heads in this fight we dont need it to be stopped on cuts and that very well can happen if Manny is having a hard time getting inside, he may revert to charging in.

  4. ive never seen pac in the ring with a pressure fighter. i dont think he can handle it. if he can't hurt margo, its over.

We have seen Pacman go to the ropes willingly in his past few fights, I don't think that it's outta the question. To be honest, I see him having to go there for a breather at some point.

Asking Margarito to show up with a new approach isn't outta the question, but it's the only way he can win. If he doesn't, I see him getting tagged all night and possibly crumbling late. I thought that Margarito could last the distance in a losing effort, but not anymore.

    We shall see :good

Oh, he will be throwing no doubt. I guess it all comes down to Pac's stamina then. And if it does give out when, and can he hold out then?

We all know there is no way Margo is winning this on points so Pac better be getting real slow by the 9th if Margo is going to have a shot. Again, I don't see it.

He really cant. But 24/7 will make you believe otherwise. His only shot is to catch Pac with something to make him think twice and rough him up when possible. Pac also likes to trade alot so thats his chance. But if Pac decides to just straight out just move then Margo wont catch him. Its Pacs fight to lose. Just dont trade too often and you win.

Margarito should be using his reach early on and not smothering the man.. I think he knows this. It can't be like the Cotto fight, he got tagged a lot, and Pacman will be dancing circles around him if he thinks he can take that all night. Hopefully he learned this from the fight with Mosley.

Hatton was, but not the same man after that check hook, and not nearly as effective. Holding his opponent was a big part of his game. Margarito does operate this way.

If Cottoe knew how to clinch, he would have beat marg that night with or without plasters. Miguel wouldn't have lost in such a brutal fashion to emmanuel either. Those two guys rely on overwhelming people with volume. You need to stop their onslaughts by clinching!

He wasn't the same man before Floyd. Dude had no chin, no defense...not a good combination.

That said Margo will be open to the same kind of shots that Hatton was.

all I know is Pac needs to clinch like mosley did when he gets too close! That was the key for Shane and not so much for Cotto.
