So how is Margorito supposed to deal with Pac's speed and movement?

margo took out Cintron(KO artist)twice before the end of the sixth round. he also took out Sergio Martinez. Granted, he did wear them down and I agree that he is not a one-punch artist.

Look at the post fight photos of Clottey and Paq. Clottey landed maybe ten punches the whole fight.

What happens when Margo lands 100? 200?

I'm curious to see if Pac can hurt Tony, before it starts I know he "can" hurt him if given a free shot, I'm talking about can he get the right punch, at the right time, that shakes Tony's confidence and makes him hesitant about coming in and throwing his punches. I just don't know if Pac can hurt Tony before Tony hurts Pac, we soon shall see.

true, but pac uses his feet so well to close distance i really dont think it's going to be a problem. the difference in speed is going to be freakin enormous. by the time margarito brings his punches back manny's going to be right there pounding him. it's really just not logical to say margarito has a chance in this fight. stylistically it's a really, really bad matchup for him. pac's a bad matchup for anyone, but especially bad for tony.

I've never seen the Martinez fight but I can tell you this much. Both Martinez and Cintron need room to punch. That plays right into Margarito's hands. If you try and move away from him and find range he will be right on top of you with long rights and left hooks.

Santos too needed room but he hurt Margarito so badly that he could have stopped him. He just ran out of gas which is ironically a known problem Santos has.

Pacquiao will have no such problem.

You are forgetting what Pacquiao did to Clottey to make him clam up. He beat the crap out of Clottey even though Clottey was in his shell the whole night. When a pro boxer just stops throwing back for long periods of time like Clottey was doing chances are he's concerned about getting knocked out. That should tell you something about how hard and how clean Pacquiao hits.

Margarito will not come at Pacquiao like this. He will do like he did against Cotto and bull Pacquiao to land body shots and long right hands. If he can successfully push Pacquiao back and land his long right hand (his best punch) he can make something happen.

Don't forget this as well. When Vernon Forrest beat Shane Mosley, he did so by pushing Mosley back and landing a hard, fully leveraged right hand. Margarito could never get that done because he never gave himself room to punch. Even Mayweather's long right hand was hurting Mosley and that is what won Mayweather the fight.

Margarito will destroy Pacquiao with his trademark lethal body shots and iron fists that he used against Mosley and Roberto the snake Garcia, oh wait a second.......

Yeah, I don't think he hits as hard as Mosley but he can hit Margo with something he doesn't see comming from some crasy angle. I think he will get Tony's respect.

if margo had a double jab, then the right hand.manny would have problems.i think margo will just walk manny down, well try to and let his hands.if hes smart he will invest in some early body shots to slow manny down.hopefully if margo lands manny throws them hands up and then just wants to trade.manny is not a slick fighter to me.just in and out, fast and some power.

margo should be able to take manny shots and deliver his own.if he can keep up with manny.its gne be a long night.im going with margo in upset but not one to me in 10th rd.

I agree. Kinda like when Mosley hit Margo in the first round of their fight with a wicked body shot that hurt Margo. He had that oh **** I'm in for a long night look.

I read some compubox stats that said Margarito only averages 50 punches thrown per round against southpaws vs 100 vs orthodox fighters, so his output may indeed look like your numbers.

The answer is within manny pacquiao did he train well enough to last the whole fight and deal with that kind of constant pressure. There is something about this camp of pacquiao that did not seem right dis time around. If his trainer says that he is around 70% than expect to see 70% of out of him in the ring. All that flying and traveling while in camp will show up come fight night, i would not be surprised if even with pacman winning he would put a terrible performance.
