So, how much money SHOULD a Nam Phan/Sean McCorkle type fighter earn?

As the UFC grow then steadily so will their money. People have been arguing about salaries for years but yet the UFC continue to increase their money. Rightly so, the UFC is a performance based job as is most stuff. Boxing is a disgrace and here comes the shocking bit - NOT a performance based job but a hype job.

I think fighters are earning ok as it is. Only sometimes I look at the lowest paid and think it could be a 8k + 8k. Forrest Griffin makes a good point though. The UFC is investing in the prelim fighters as they don't make money and OFTEN won't draw a crowd which a prelim fighter on a boxing card would.

Also, the fighter gets $6k but if he performs then he has the chance of a bonus but also FOTN, KOTN, SOTN and if they promote their fights hardcore like Sean McCorkle did then they might get a locker room bonus.
