Margarito threw more punches against Clottey than against anyone he ever faced, and still Clottey hung in there tough for the full 12 rounds, while Cotto get his face mashed up and got stopped in 11 and Cinron didn't even make it past the middle rounds in either of his 2 attempts.

Now Clottey is of course a huge guy at WW in terms of body structure and what he weighs in the ring and he has better defense than either Cotto or Cintron, but still you have to say that Margarito's recent results against other dangerous fighters make Clottey look like a bad dude.

If he beats Judah like i think he will (since Judah always gets discouraged himself when he can't discourage the other guy, and in this fight he sure as hell can't) i would love to see him get another crack at Margo, especially since Margo-Williams 2 doesn't look likely right now.

Well like i said at the end at the end of my initial post, Margo-Williams 2 doesn't look likely right now because Bob Arum and Dan Goossen have been bitching a lot back and forth (well especially Arum anyway) about eachother recently, and Goossen is looking to match up Williams with Winky Wright.
That's part of the reason i brought up Clottey. And as for P-Will looking even tougher than Clottey, well, you could make a strong case for that, but remember that Margo threw a record amount of punches against Clottey whereas against Williams he started too slow and only started stepping on the gas in the second half of the fight.

I think the stoppage had alot to do with how many punches Cotto threw.

The reason was Williams was throwing a sh*tload of shots himself. Williams beat Margo at his game, and if he employs some of the range fighting that we now know that he can do I think that he beats Margo even easier the second time.

Clottey just covered up, he didn't take punches like Cotto did.

I would love to see Clottey-Margo II, and I think it will happen when Clottey beats Judah, as I think he will.

Perhaps Margo can set a new compubox record against Joshua, perhaps shoot for 2000 punches thrown to beat the record of 1675 he set in shutting out Clottey for the final 8 rounds of the fight the first time around.

This version of Margarito was a different Margarito that fought Clottey. That margarito who fought clottey sustained an injury during camp, which prevented him to train 100% of the time and was coming off his longest layoff, which contributed to a sub-par margo performance

Margarito holds the record of most missed punches in a fight.
    Clottey rematch would be awesome

Clottey would have beat Margo had he not hurt both hands in that fight, rematch please.

I dont think that Williams will be around much longer, I dont think that he will be able to make 147 much longer, and it has been said that he would even have a hard time making 154 much longer. So the Williams rematch needs to happen first or eles it would have to be at 160 and I dont think that Margo will carry that weight well.
