If you mean by rock you mean land a clean punch then yes but at no point was Fury in trouble. Have a look at that fight and compare 2010 fury to the 2016 version. Slightly different. Conn was flattened by Joe Louis twice in an era not even slightly comparable to today's. Joshua has said he does not respect the power of guys under 200lbs.
Is this anything to do with Bellew being an Evertonian whilst you are, I presume, a Red? If so, it is affecting your judgement as far as being biased goes. You might be right but you allow your judgement to be clouded by this at times, too.
I didn't say Fury was in trouble, since Fury does have a good chin, but when Fury tried to go for the knockout Page kept timing him with flush counter rights and when Fury tried to bully him like he would later do to Cunningham it didn't work, since Page being a lot more experienced than Cunningham would hit Fury with well-timed uppercuts on the inside. Fury was forced to play it safe and get the decision. As for comparing Fury from 2010 to 2015 I didn't see much of a difference since Fury from 2010 would've still beat guys like Cunningham, Hammer, or Wlad, who was shot in 2015. To put the Page fight in perspective Page had already had 7 fights that year before fighting Fury and going into the Fury fight he had already fought that month two weeks before and was 37 at the time. Also, Joshua hasn't fought any good fighters under 200 lbs. I think he's improving at a great rate and has all of the potential in the world to become a great fighter, but there are plenty of fighters from the past under 200 lbs that would've been able to floor him and some of them would've beaten him, since neither Joshua's height or weight (6'5" 240+) were uncommon in the 30's.
That's very debatable. He won, but saying he dominated is a gross exaggeration. Did you actually see the fight and not just highlights? Page figured out Fury's jab after the first couple of rounds, but clearly wasn't going to be awarded any rounds against such a promising prospect as Fury.
Fair does cha although you hopefully could see my point of view. I fully understand rivalries taking a grip at times. As it stands, I think Bellew will have a decent pop at Usyk but might get stopped late on as the better skills shine through. I will be cheering Bellew on (never thought I would ever say this!), as a Brit , although I am equally as supportive of Usyk should he be the better man and wins. I just hope for a good, back and forth, clean decent scrap.
