    And i have a simple question. .

how come Oscar gets so much **** for fighting a smaller Pac. . but really, got no praise for fighting the bigger Hopkins?

Or even more so, why didnt Hopkins get **** for fighting DLH like Oscar is for fighting Pac?

    :huh

Perhaps. .people and their double standards when it helps support a fighters cause that they pull for? The Bias in this sport is crazy.

Oscar was moving up from 154 to 160 for Hopkins, Pacquiao is moving up from 135.

Pacquiao staying at 135 was going to be better for future boxing events with all the competition in that division and 140.

Oscar did get his credit, but does that give him a license to do whatever the **** he wants to do, indefinately, in the present and future??

De La Hoya had also fought at 160 prior to his bout with Hopkins, and let's use some ****ing common sense here - there is no way in hell Pacquiao would be fighting at 147 if not for this lucrative opportunity. People thought David Diaz had a chance to beat Pacquiao because of the leap in 5 ****ing pounds. Get real.

exactly. also consider that dlh has 4 inches on pac and somewhere around an 8 inch reach advantage. its going to look crazy seeing them side by side and im not looking forward to it.

    yep.

also dont be surprised if Delahoya cant even make 147. the last time he did is when he fought Gatti 7-8 years ago.

If hoya got a hard time sparring with a 5'3 calderon eventhough he has the height and reach advantage...

Why the **** are you laughing that hoya is taking on pac now? :patsch

Oscar's frame was made to go up in weight. In one of his Olympic bouts the announcer is talking about him and saying all the experts agreed that eventually Oscar was gonna fight at welterweight and maybe moving up to middleweight.

Pac can gain weight but his frame is still small.

DLH= junior middleweight for 3 years when he moved up to fight Hopkins at a catch weight of 158.

Pacquiao= lightweight for one fight, who's moving up two more divisions.

Because it's not so much that he's a smaller man, it's that it's blatant confirmation that OIscar fights only for money, big or small of fat or skinny or whatever. He acts like he is gods gift to boxing, when he is, in fact, a great example of everything that is wrong with it. He is a Hypocrite, past his prime, wears fishnets, annyony voice. He should retire and let boxing finally breathe without his stinking presence.

this is stupid really. this is like asking me to hate on david diaz for fighting pac and hate on pac as well for fighting montiel. it just does not make sense because you have to take into consideration both the size and the ability

count the pounds bro. and measure the height.
