    i think you will find i give respect to fighters that deserve it in their careers like rjj, hopkins etc
    But for pepole to say joe should fight taylor, dawson is an insult.
    Those guys are not fit to lace his gloves up.

    if joe slaps then why dont his opponent walk straight through them and knock him out?

    lol at mental beating.. calzaghe fight exposed lacy has a one dimensional brawler... he never beat a world class fighter before calzaghe... and he shows that he has no defense... regardless of how shot u are u are gonna show at least some sign of speed or defense ... he looked fine to me in that taylor fight... really aggressive no problems with his legs, doesnt look shot to me... he is clearly just a good ole fashioned brawl... a sonny liston type fighter

    Dawson is one of the top fighters at LHW and beat 2 guys that destroyed a younger, fresher version of the Roy Jones that Calzaghe faced. Of old, past it Roy is good enough to fight Calzaghe then why not Dawson?

    Because Dawson looked awful in his last few fights, johnson he struggled badly and tarver has been finished for some time.
    ive said it before let dawson fight hopkins and then joe fights winner.
    then we have a credible fight.

    That's a wholly inaccurate statement. Dawson looked great against Tarver. The only recent outing which he didn't look great was against Johnson. And he looked better in that fight than Calzaghe did against Hopkins. Let's also not forget that Roy didn't look all that good against Hanshaw or Ajamu, and Tito was taking it to him early in the fight.

    Although I think form the most part your defence of Dawson is fair and accurate.

    But when comparing Joe and Chad, their last 2 fights have similarites, one was a close win the other a comfortable win. But Calzaghe was pushed close by the reigning 175lb champ and a fighter who is in everybodys top 10 p4p, Dawson was pushed close by Glen Johnson who is by far much more limited.

    Calzaghe UDs Dawson all night long imo, but yes if Joe carries on Dawson is the most deserving option.

    Styles make fights. Bika is more limited than Johnson and he gave Calzaghe a tough fight. Bernard Hopkins is the only guy that has beat Johnson decisively. He's given everyone else fits.

    Its a question I posed is Taylor the guy that now is considered most likely to beat calzaghe??

    Or perhaps Lacy was in an accident where he badly damaged his shoulder where the brunt of the power from hooks comes from?
