After that ****ing **** show I had him watch Corrales/Castillo I. He said that it may well have been the greatest sporting event he'd ever seen, and added he'll never watch another heavyweight fight again. I don't fault him. I've been saying for ****ing YEARS, anything above super middle is a waste of ****ing time more often than not. Heavyweights are ****ing useless.

Heavyweights especially those that can punch always present the possibility of a great fight...show him

    Lewis Briggs
    Tyson Ruddock
    Bowe Holyfield

Well I don't need to tell you...but I think he needs to give it a chance

The thing is bud, the most recent of those fights was 1998.

If I were to name the top 10 fights of the last 10 years there wouldn't be a single heavyweight fight on there. The division is dead. EVERYONE there is either boring or talentless.

I don't have it in HD, but it's a decent quality AVI and was well worth the watch. My friend was flipping out when Corrales came back after the knock downs.

Who gives a **** about that guy? Any moron who makes a decision about an entire weight class or sport based off of one fight isn't worth having as a fan anyways.

You've got to draw people in SOMEHOW. This fight was being hyped all over the place, David Haye was SUPPOSED to turn this into something actually worth watching and he did a great job of flopping about the floor like he was playing for Barcelona. It's called a first impression guy, ever heard the term?

I never have casual fans over for a Klit fight. Also try to keep them away from Mayweather. When they think that's the best entertainment boxing can provide, it drags down the whole sport.

I will have some friends over next weekend for Rios/Antillion if I don't go to the fight.

  11. **** casual fans! Haye vs Klitschko was a let down but I love Heavyweight boxing and it's rich history. Casual fans can go watch the "excitement" of wild swinging UFC fighters who hug each other to death for 3 rounds.

When it comes to casual fans you really have to choose wise in order to get them drawn in. I ****ed up big time when i had a shitload of people over for the Pacquiao-Mosley fight and people were bored as hell.

But of course Ortiz-Berto that fight no one was around and i had to watch it alone with a cold beer and some leftover food from the day before.

Klit fights i would never show a casual and the way Mayweather and Pacquiao have been matched up you need to pick the better one.

I know what you mean though. I had some casuals over for Cotto-Margarito and they been hooked ever since.

Normally I wouldn't invite people over for a Klit fight since I know all they tend to do is sit on the outside and jab, jab, right hand all night for fights that are boring even if they often end in KOs. With all the **** Haye was talking though I was hoping he would make Wlad fight. I couldn't have been more wrong.

A girl on my Facebook started whining "time for some real fighting #UFC" right after the Klitschko-Haye decision and my first instinct was to get all indignantly huffed and puffed...but...yeah, honestly it was hard to defend the "BIGGEST, MOST THRILLING HEAVYWEIGHT WORLD TITLE FIGHT IN YEARS" even against that garbage. :yep

Can't defend that garbage. The best you can do is show em fights MMA will NEVER match in a million years, which is exactly what I was forced to do tonight.
