You could try mixing in some hill reps. I try to do this once a week or so: Warm up for 15mins, then find an uphill section 250-400m long with a fairly constant gradient. Run up at a solid pace (pushing it but not sprinting), jog back down. Repeat without resting (recover on the jog down). I do 8 or 10 of them, depending on how my knees are. It's good for building leg strength and dropping weight.
are there no roads where u live lol? bright side is training up there is gonna give u alot more red blood cells.
Real cool dick head, its more of a safety thing though people drive like nuts up here in the morning, and its kind of dark... I can't exactly run in the woods either.. But yes, when i used to do roadwork in the afternoon(right before i did my boxing routine, which was a stupid idea no?) i'd run 3 miles on varying terrains..cause the roads are pretty up and down..
good suggestion, ill just run around my house or some **** till than...boring, but builds work ethic.......haha (just do that at like 75% pace for 45 minutes-an hour
you might want to put reflective tape on the heel of your running shoes too. theres this old couple that live next to me they walk at night all the time and they wear the vest and reflective heels. You can see them from a mile away it really works great.
depends how much running you normally do. if you only do a little, do not run on roads uphill. it will cause you shin splints even in the short term.
