.. I didnt watch it live i watched it the next day on the net.

Anyways that was the first time in a long time i watched a full MMA card. Last was Arlovski and Fedor so i dunno..

Anyways i watched all of the fights.

Ill admit some of them were pretty damn good. I mean, even the shitty fights were good.

Anyways after watching this, my favorite fight in that card was St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves..

    Man...

That ****in guy is somthin isnt he? You notice how when he goes to his corner in breaks, he is all calm and foccussed and he has that "i know what im doing" face on?

Jeez. The trainer doesn't even give him wreslting advice or anything at all. He just says stay foccussed and watch for this etc...

This guy has true skills that one must appreaciate. He is awesome on the ground too. I dont know many fighters in UFC but i honestly think nobody i seen can beat St Pierre. I mean your best bet is knocking him out.

    This guy has amazing skills...

    Whats his record, etc..?

His resume is quickly becoming the best ever. How often can you say a guy has cleaned out a divison ? I know hes fighting Kampman-Swick winner but those guys arent even top 5 fighters yet. Hes done defeated basically the entire top 10. Just take a look at Sherdogs rankings hes defeated 2,3,and 7 which is Fitch,Alves,Koscheck then 2 of the honorable mentions Hughes and Parsyian. 1 and 10 at Lightweight on Sherdogs Lightweight BJ and Sherk, then a honorable mention Middleweight in Frank Trigg. Throw in recent Champion Matt Serra, former ICON Champ Jason Miller,Affliction contender Jay Hieron. Hes defeated a former UFC Champ 5 times which is impressive. I know he doesnt have Hughes 7 title defenses but I think the pure dominance over better oppostion and beating Hughes 2 out of 3 might have had him surpass him already as the most dominant Welterweight that we have to hear on every UFC commerical involving Hughes or someone who beat him.

He could go down at the best fighter that ever fought in the UFC since Fedor never fought here.

He has a chance to surpass Fedor I think, if he never lose again, and go and dominate the 185lbs, and becoming the champ beating Anderson Silva, would be bigger in my opinion, that everything Fedor achieved, and i'm a goddamn big Fedor nuthugger. I'm maybe a bigger GSP nuthugger I dunno lol.

GSP's fight vs Hughes, the second time, is the greatest moment for myself of all GSP's career. Ok, watching GSP knee to the death Serra in Montreal live was pretty big but when he TKOed HUghes, I was so happy lol.

    Or watching Penn quit:deal:deal:deal
    To the death georges

I think GSPs best win is the 3rd Matt Hughes fight. Its one thing to KO Hughes but takedown him down multiple times, mount him, transition from a Kimura into an Armbar and finish the guy the same way he finished you thats sick. Hughes got his ass beat the way he used to kick asses and thats more impressive then any other victory IMO. To me GSP has surpassed Hughes and Penn in UFC greatness. Hes better then Anderson Silva I mean Silva has 4 nice wins while GSP has like what 10-11 in the UFC ? I think its Chuck Liddell for now then GSP.

Oh, if he dominates 185 I think there is no question he is p4p #1. Beating BJ Penn and Anderson Silva, that would be absolutely amazing. He has the natural advantage of not being a HW. HW's always have a disadvantage in p4p contests because they can't really change weights except for going down.

Maybe the strongest guy P4P in MMA history. Fantastic wrestling and explosive takedowns against fantastic and strong wrestlers.

Great striker, great cardio, great wrestling, phenominal strength...no weaknesses I can see at all. The only way to beat him is to catch him with the perfect shot or submission.

IMO, he is the best P4P right now.

However, I do think that Silva may very well be too big for him.

Silva when he gets back on track of knocking out people will surpass him but Lyoto is the one that could possibly becaome the greatest of all time in MMA and even garner the respect of Boxing afficionados. But GSP is a great fighter

You have the perfect attitude and it's great to see, mma is a great sport and watching it makes fans, same goes for another sport popular on this site, that's all that matters. That enjoying both or either of these sports is why we are all here.

I've been a fan of GSP for years. The man is magic in the ring and a seems like a good guy out of the ring.

He is the best P4P fighter in the world.

Fedor is still number until somebody beat him. He just destroyed 2 former ufc champion and is about to fight another former champion in barnett. GSP has been awesome lately but fedor is still # 1 P4P in the universe.
