So I was watching Jones vs Trinidad in a sports bar ...

    in Colorado Springs (there for work).There were about 6 m*therf*ckers watching UFC sh*t and they kept saying "Wow, you are missing a great boxing match" to each other during the undercard (of course with sarcasm). They also kept saying "You get more action in 1 round of MMA than an hour of boxing (also sarcasm).

    They were saying this cause I told the manager not to change the TV located where I was sitting, which happened to be one of the TVs they wanted to watch. I happened to look over to their TV (UFC) and it looked like two guys trying to have sex with one of them having their period.

    It is always the MMA/UFC guys bringing up boxing...

    I like MMA, not as much as I like boxing. Nowhere near as much actually. But I dont mind it at all.

    People just like to **** on each other... well metaphorically at least. :huh :blood

    The irony of it is that they get exciting about KOs which happen when their fighters try to box (something an MMA fighter sucks at).

    Where the f*ck is the excitement in twisting an arm or choking someone rolling around on a mat?

    i think people watch combat sports for different reasons. boxing fans watch because you are actually watching the best in the world competing at the highest levels of skill and conditioning in a fight that lasts long enough to test your heart. i watch mma sometimes for the same reason we used to run to watch those schoolyard brawls. its entertaining watching someone get their ass whooped. theres not as much skill involved or as much pageantry or history but it can still be fun.

    i watched the fight at a friend's house and my friend's next door neighbor, who is a woman, was stating how boring the fight was, and she'd much rather be watching a UFC fight. :-(

    Last time i checked Boxing makes alot more money on PPVs than their **** does so that should tell you something. And theres a reason why none of their athletes make the salary of boxers.

    Pay them no heed. Just tell the doorman that they are selling drugs and you have called the Police. After they have been chucked out, turn the UFC off and turn the boxing up. That'll ****ing learn 'em!

    I called this bar who suppossedly showed all the PPV fights. They were showing the UFC fight instead. *******s.
