So I watched Louis vs Conn 1 last night....

Yes he was. His punches were going to take a much bigger toll in the long run than Conn's. Plus Louis had a big weight advantage and his weight leaning on a smaller opponent in clinches and so forth also take a toll.

 

I understood that part of his weight drain was dehydration.
I wonder if that was the case, because to be able to rally for the victory late in a tough fight is much tougher if you are ahort of vital fluids.

Conn may have effected a con (I could not help it, never heard it said & the doubling effect was there for the taking ;-))
when answering why he did not lay back for the victory with something like "what's the point in being Irish if you can't be thick-headed"?

It has been pointed out he could not coast to victory, but I think the Louis pressure forced him to fight, instead of what other's said was he boldly going for the KO. Thoughts?
