Well but then he shouldnt open his mouth he said that SRL wouldnt even be top 10 at welter if he was fighting today but that guy came back from retirement to take on one of the best middleweights of all time while Floyd comes back to fight two smaller fighters.

things like that are the reason why he will never be mentioned among the greats like Leonard.

Pound for pound means "stronger at his wieght than the second guy at his own weight". If a dude weighing 200lbs benchpresses 200lbs and a second dude weighing 150lbs benchpresses 180lbs, that means that the first guy is stronger, yet the second one has more pound for pound strength. Even if, in a head to head match-up, the bigger guy picks up the small one and throws him across the room, the small one still remains stronger pound for pound.
To move up in pound for pound ratings, you must fight bigger fighters. No amount of beating up on smaller fighters makes your pound for pound rating increase.
If two boxers beat up the same opponent, the smaller one gets more credit.

Pound for pound is a ratio. It says that "if I was as big as you and kept the same ratio, I would be stronger than you." That all remains speculative until the small fighter moves up in weight and proves that he managed to keep the same ratio of strength to weight. The larger one is normally expected to beat the smaller one, so achieving that doesn't prove anything from a pound for pound perspective.

So you're saying that when Floyd looks at himself in the mirror, he is looking at a smaller version of himself, and fighting a smaller version of himself:huh?? I don't get it.

Yes, he does say a lot of ludicrous things (Duran would beat you too Floyd), but all I am saying is that fighting a guy like Pac being regarded as cherrypicking is reaching.

Floyd will NEVER get respect on this forum, end of story.

If he fights PAc, he's fighting the legtimate P4P #1 fighter in the world. Size is not even ****ing relevant. If the roles were reveresed, Floyd would adapt, train properly, andcome in as a healthy welterweight and it wouldn't be an issue. If Manny or JMM, or ****ing Mini-Me for that matter, if they can't do the same it's their ****ing problem.

I wouldnt say **** about him being a cherrypicker if he had fought one of the top WW like Cotto or Mosley before fighting JMM or Pac but he hasnt and hes taking on lowest risk biggest reward fights available like he has done since is second fight with Castillo.

More ***** reasoning from dumbass blade****er. How is fighting Pacquiao lower risk higher reward when many think that Pacquiao would beat Miguel cotto and that Mayweather would be a bigger favorite fighting Shane then Pacquiao who many have a 50/50 fight.

Dumbass. Stop hating ***** and get a life. Never seen somebody hate on one guy you dont even know as much as you. Its not healthy.
