If Floyd fights Pacquiao at 140lbs, he has my complete respect.

i understand the money factor is a primordial consideration here but i honestly think that a cotto/pbf or ssm/pbf fight would have been more intriguing than the jmm fight.

a lot of fight fans, even suleiman was concerned about the size disparity. sure, jmm is good, but for me clearly on the decline. he is 37, and coming in from a lower weight.

just like penalosa coming in against juanma. practically same case. the smaller fighter is the older fighter, unlike dlh wherein the bigger fighter was the older one. that evened things out in my opinion.

but here, the factors are stacked in pbf favor if he goes up against pac or jmm. he is young, size/reach/height advantage.

i really can't see pac winning against pbf despite being such a huge ******* that i am.

C'mon Danny Rand. You're KNOW you just made that up.

Marquez and Manny ARE NOT closer to Floyds size than Mosely and Cotto.
    FACT.

Floyd says 'I am the greatest of all time' DO YOU REALISE HOW OFFENSIVE THAT IS????

It's disrespectful to the boxers who have come before him. He's saying he's better than the all time greats who have put the LIVES on the LINE. Who have fought everyone who was put in front of them. Didn't cherrypick safe fights. Who came through massive battles. That's why Floyd has so many haters he has a lack of respect.

Wow...that's a great. point right there. All the Floyd lovers say that Pac has no chance don't they. Which means he's cherrypicking Pac as well.

Imagine a Floyd boy here giving the logic that Floyd and Pac can actually fight at 140lbs.

I know eh? its ridiculous. If they think Floyd is not cherrypicking Pac, then it stands to reason that he MUST be fighting a dangerous fighter then, and not an easy picking.

At the very least they should be consistent with their arguments.

pbf isn't exactly young, he's also in his 30s and in fact he is 1 or was it 2 years older than pac. And pac-jmm was just an even match, jmm style doesn't fade that much while aging, he is still clearly on a roll. Just like hopkins imo or mosley, jmm is still game. The size disparity isn't really a problem at all, floyd doesn't use his size or overpower his opponents so you would pretty much expect a tactical fight like jmm-casamayor.

and on your last pharagraph, i don't know why u don't see pac having a chance at all. Before i do see it that way but when i think about it i think pac has a better chance to defeat floyd than most of the welterweights today. Another poster on another forum pointed it to me, in fact some people here also think of it as well. Pac style would bother floyd and would make him fight, forget the jmm fight before at 130, its a different pac now, he is faster and he carried that power up to boot. He would make floyd fight and work for the whole 12 rounds

Pac is started fighting at 110 pounds. He is too small for Mayweather.
    Mayweather should fight Shane Mosley.

and i have asked here a several times already these two questions and it seems that floydettes are evading the question. why is it that pbf is fought or is keen on fighting fighters presently deemed smaller than him.

    1. hatton
    2. marquez.
    3. pac

as a floyd fan, shouldn't you be happier if pbf fought pw, ssm or cotto instead?

are you proud that your favorite fighter is going into fights with the odds stacked in his favor? unlike pac, who just over a year ago was deemed ripe for murder if he fought above 135.

    Yes . . . is still a cherry picker.

    He's facing the p4p#1 . . . who is smaller.

There's should be no catch weight for this fight . . . PBF should be facing the guy at 140. :deal

Pac has a chance to beat Floyd. He has a great chance actually. I don't know why people are so quick to sell Pac out.

didn't floyd did that before when he was only campaigning at 130 and moved up? Floyd is on his peak weight now and i don't think he can moved up any farther, just like i don't think pac will move any higher than 140/147

i gave pac a chance as well..its all about styles, but not that much of a great chance but i give him more of a chance to beat floyd than cotto/ mosley, margo, etc.
