Any boxing fan with any sense has already disregarded the WBA and anything that happens with it as a non event.

I think most people in should want haye to win, regardless of where they are from, if haye loses then he was just a flash in the pan and the heavy division will just stay pretty boring with two guys beating the other guys easily. If haye wins well then at least there will be a build up to a potentially exciting heavy contest, that is if haye actually steps up to the plate, which im not sure he will do.........

If Haye loses to Ruiz we will officially have the three most boaring HW champs ever...Ruiz is a top 20 but hardly a top 10 heavyweigth. If Haye can`t take care of him he has problems that can`t be solved.

Yes, he will get that, because Ruiz is past is and this fight is a joke. It's a continuation of the WBA circle jerk, that's all. Really, can you or anyone tell me what Ruiz has done to deserve a title shot. I won't even wait for an answer because I know none is coming. Now, Haye deserves this. Every fighter has a right to a few easy fight. But this is an easy fight. A 38 year old fighter with a record of 4-3 over the past 5 years. Honestly, what else could it be.

I agree. I want Haye to win because I'm a fan of the heavyweight. Yes, I know...pretty sad. But I am. And I'd like to see something that at least approaches a heavyweight mega fight again. If Haye looks good, there is a chance that he will fight Wlad. That is if they can agree on a deal, which probably won't happen.

    I'm not a Yankee, but...

Of course they are! A loss to Ruiz would be terribly embarrassing for Haye

Before this fight was even made, we already had the "Ruiz is crap and past it". No change there. Whether you're a Haye fan or not, everyone is expecting nothing less than a dominant victory for Haye (be it a decision or KO). If he scrapes a win, then by all means he should expect a fair bit of criticism. If he goes one worse and loses, then his future as an elite heavyweight will be in serious doubt.

Don Kings official puppet that is Ruiz is expected to lose on away turf.

If he somehow gets Hayes mantle off and disposes of him, I'll expect everyone to have a good laugh. I don't wish Haye a loss here, I want him to take his pounding like a man, against THE MAN that is Wladimir Klitschko.

As a proud Puerto Rican, I would love to see Ruiz win. He is a very tough guy who fights anyone. But true fact is Ruiz depends on the other boxer standing in front of him to apply his 1-2, pushing and grabbing contest. If Hayes moves a little and uses agood jab, should be an easy fight for him. So, it all depends on Hayes strategy.
