I will be the first to turn my back on him if he loses to an old Ruiz. I think Ruiz's huggy bear tactics could make it a difficult nights work for Haye if Haye cant get off to a good dominant start. And land a few good n's on Ruiz to get his respect! I watched the first couple of rounds of Ruiz V Golota earlier today and my sneaking feeling is he's going to come out aggressive against Haye...and this will be interesting!!

I'm a Haye fan but thought he was lucky to get the nod against Valuev. He hardly threw a punch in 12 rounds. Sure he got the better punches in and made the giant miss an awful lot but still Valuev landed a lot of jabs when Haye was just running and running hardly thowing anything. Basically he fought scared against Valuev, so I do wonder how brave he'd be against any other decent heavyweight. I cant imagine him being any different if he ever gets in with a Klitschko cos he knows they can bang much harder than Valuev so he'd likely be more scared!

We'll see something tonight - I know Ruiz isn't a bomber but he's got enough to hurt you if you let him. Will Haye try n run against Ruiz later tonight or will he fight a lot more confident?? I'm looking and hoping so!

I do think Haye should do it, Ruiz is old but very experienced and apart from Tua whos looked good beating him? His hated stlye of hit n clinch if Ruiz tries to establish this tonight could make it a boring fight. We might have to watch to huggies in one night! Ruiz then later on Hopkins! I hope for some good clean boxing and excitement...hopefully.

And we all know King Don is why Ruiz got this fight...only for King Don to later realise that he was no longer contracted to him.

I am american, yet I do not think much of Ruiz. Never did. He never fought the top heavies like Lennox or Klitchko, and lost to the small guys moving up Jones and Toney. Ruiz never fought Tua in a rematch, which would have proved a lot.

I don't want to see Ruiz win. Then he fights Valuev and guys like that again for another 2 year. He will never fight the Klitchko's because he knows he would lose. He will not fight Tua again. If Haye wins we get to see Haye test his right hand against the Klitchko's and maybe Tua etc.

If Haye loses to Huggy Bear, he may as well top himself.

Haye should send Ruiz into a painful retirement.

This fight even taking place is a travesty. Ruiz should have been banned after he lost to roy.

Ruiz is a decent fighter so I wouldn't go as far as to say if he scrapes a win he should be criticized but if he looses he sure as **** should be.
