It's looking like Adamek's the best choice. No one cares about Arreola.

A purse bid was held in the IBF Office today for the IBF heavyweight championship mandatory defense between champion Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin. K2 Promotions bid $ 8,313,000. Sauerland Events bid $ 4,250,001. K2 Promotions has 90 days to put this fight on.

It's got to be Adamek. Unless he stops ducking Harrison.

    I think its Vitali.

Booth stated that was who they preferred first because he held the more prestigous belt.

If Haye knows this he might actually fight him.

Otherwise, there is Bernard Hopkins, Mormeck, Liverpool Cab Drivers, one-eyed Hells angels, Evander Holyfield, etc.

    Gotta be Adamek.

Although obviously not quite as meaningful as a win over a Klit, it could be a massive fight, a fight that actually delivers (I think Hayes cagey style will allow and speed will see him get his shots off. Haye can be sloppy; Adamek, no puncher but game, will trade and possibly floor Haye. But Haye will tale him out between 4-5 rounds IMO) and would be a great event either here or in the States.

The Klits wear themselves out a bit more, Haye defends against a mandatory mid-2011. Next November/December we can finally see THE heavyweight showdown we wanna see.

Remember, Hagler-Hearns failed to come to fruition and then re-emerged a few years later, and was a better fight for it. Haye-Wlad could be the same (but will last for less rounds)

I just hope there is some movement on him fighting someone. It's all gone a bit too quiet for my liking.
