So... if Kessler is ahead in a close fight, does he get the decision?

This very questions is holding me back from plunking some change down on him. I can see him winning the fight by a close but relatively decisive margin, and getting screwed in Wales. :think

What are your thoughts? Does Kessler really need to stop Calzaghe?

This is what I hate about there types of fights. Should be in Vegas, for equality sake.

"If Kessler is ahead" then he'll win... surely that's straightforward. There'll be nothing contraversial here.

Of course. Doesn't every fighter who's ahead in a close fight get the decision? This is BOXING. C'mon.

I'm afraid he'll have to directly outbox Calzaghe to have just a slight chance of getting a decision win.:-(
Just look at who practically chose the judges.

**** off dickhead - Kessler has to win a least 9 rounds clearly before he has a chance

Tito won a close decision in Vegas against Hoya and the scoring system should be like a flat certainty, a pure image of the box activity in the scorecards... The same cannot be said about external factors affecting the judges at ringside - once the rounds go by, so each round scoring gets to be a closed case and cannot be reverted, so how much weight has the atmosphere on the human beings who score?... Kessler has to win conclusively or else, he's gonna lose a close decision or earn something like a majority draw.

That is why I will be forced to lay off the fight. :verysad

Sucks too, because I think Kessler would win on neutral ground.

I think if it's close, Calzaghe may get the nod regardless.

As long as a joke stoppage a la Manfredo doesn't happen, I'll be happy and maybe even a little surprised.

Do you little moron really think that the UK and Warren is fair play?

Did you saw M´Baye vs. Kotelnik.

    **** off....

Kessler never ever gets a decision if its close.
