& becomes undisputed champion with only five fights at the weight will that be a record? Has anyone else moved up in weight and become undisputed champion in under five fights?
Loma got stripped off the WBC belt for no ****ing reason and given the prestigious title of Franchise champion.
When* Loma beats Lopez. Holyfield in seven. Can't think of one closer right now. I'm fairly certain anyone who actually followed the whole Haney-email-belt situation would agree that Lomachenko-Lopez is for all the marbles. The WBC have managed to make it even harder to make an undisputed fight. Just for some perspective. If Fury was upgraded to Franchise champ, so he didn't have to face Whyte (when Whyte was his mando), would people think that Fury vs Joshua wouldn't be fot undisputed? Of course it would. This is basically an undisputed fight and should be considered as such. It's literally only not on a technicality.
Sulamain just said the winner this weekend will be undisputed. Loma won the belt when he defeated Campbell, now correct me if I'm wrong nobody has beaten Loma since? Emails don't count.. WBC make all this **** up as they go along but you'd have to be one petty pedantic arsehole to disagree that this is anything other than undisputed..
Proper weird... I thought they stripped Loma and gave the belt to Haney. So what is "Franchise Champion" then? I'm getting confused with all the new belts.
I don't think it's been done in the 4 belt era, somebody will have to correct me if I'm wrong. Where the historians at?
Did he jump straight into the Dempsey fight from light heavyweight? That's amazing if he did, & why is he not more celebrated then?
Regardless what you or other people think. Lomachenko isn't the WBC Champion. The Franchise is more or less a active version of the emeritus title. Also Loma beating Lopez isn't guaranteed.
