I wanna see some technical debates though...alot of these guys just come in here and say pac will knock him cuz floyd will be inactive and 34 by than..

i mean, show me where he slowed in the shane fight?? getting caught in the 2nd?? Fighters get caught..it happens...but he showed more positive in his fight game than he did negative...

    showed his chin
    versatility
showed he dangerous even after getting caught...just as easily as "you" can catch him he can just as easily come back, turn it into a "chessmatch" and outbox you and end up with the W......

showed he can fight a big ww with a lot of punch power-this is relevant because until after the Shane Mosley fight, many people claimed Shane had the style to beat Floyd..

Now its pac by tko or UD. Too fast and busy. Floyd will get hit, wide looping punches are getting thru Floyd now imagine the angles Pac will present.

Also if Floyd decided to pick spots against Pac workrate. Tell me, whos judges are going to favor Floyd. **** DLH had one of the judges split and hes nowhere near the workrate and accuracy of Pac

But 3 years from now when this fight happens..Who the **** cares!

really poor assessment man , the quote above acts like manny is some 12 fight novice . Manny has fought a much more versitile opponent than Floyd . Floyd is coming up for 34 , his last two fights has been against an average age of 37 , and looked good , but not sensational , Manny on the other hand fought the two best welters available and made them look very average .

At this point in their careers the edge has to go to Manny.

yea but u didnt say much about anything "technically"..

u blabbed your opinion and all that...but what i said holds a ton of truth really...

as for the 2 best "AVAILABLE" in the division...Clottey was NOT ONE OF THE TWO BEST:rofl:patsch

MOSLEY WAS ACTUALLY RANKED 1 BEFORE MANNY BEAT MIGUEL...MANNY TOOK THE 1 SPOT BY BEATING MIGUEL AND SHANE WAS AT THE TWO SPOT...LMFAO CLOTTEY TOP 2 "AVAILABLE

Again..Floyd controls him with the longer reach and much better footwork...

come at me with something more than that though:deal

as for the edge goin to manny...disagree there too...floyd bigger, stronger, as fast, and the much more versatile fighter....

THOSE TWO GUYS HE FOUGHT THAT WERE OLD WERE RANKED 2 AND 3 IN THE WORLD...TUNE UP IN THE FIRST ONE AND THE BEST AVAILABLE OPPONENT AT THE TIME IN SHANE...TILL FLOYD BEAT HIM..THAN SHANE NEVER DID MUCH OF ANYTHING

And pac's last opponent and next opponent both coming off losses....not even ranked in the top 10....

Tony hasn't done anything aside from get knocked by an old shane mosley, get caught cheating, beat a journeyman when he was suspended...

Arum the one responsible for making those fights...lol.."best two available"

yea best 2 available in top ranks stable

If you see Floyd's handspeed in the Mosley fight compared to the one that beat up Judah and Hatton there's a noticeable difference.

He answered a lot of questions in that fight though. He showed that he has enough power to make a granite chin like Mosley think twice, and that his chin is good.

Mosley countered him with a right hand that he didn't see coming at all, but it couldn't floor Floyd. After that Floyd realized Mosley's little jabs to the body were just distractions to set up that right hand. He made the adjustment to shrug off those jabs. You could see Mosley try the same **** later in the round, but Floyd didn't take the bait.

Floyd controls emmmanuel with his jab, and counters with the jab over on top of the right hook. Watch how Morales was able to do it. The money jab didn't miss once against Mosley as it kept snapping his head back.

emmanuel doesn't know how to take away a right hand, and he's a southpaw to put a cherry on top. Floyd's ATG rights land regardless of how susceptible his opponents that punch.

Watch how Floyd will maneuver on the inside as he lands those left hooks to the body and right uppercuts. dapidran isn't a good inside fighter.

emmanuel by design over commits on his left hand to get a lot of power. It puts him off balance, but his recent opponents didn't have the speed or timing to catch him. He either throws it to the body which will be countered with a check hook, or at the head which can be countered by stepping back and coming back with a right.

It's over once Floyd figures out how to neutralize the left hand. He might block it like he did to Judah's left, step out of distance, slip it, or counter it. It will be gone though.

Young Mayweather's footwork will close off the offensive angles for dapidran, so he won't be able to get into position to throw combos. Dapidran doesn't always have his hands up either.

All those cleverly placed body shots from Floyd cuts down emmanuel's amazing speed and stamina. We will see dapidran get moar tired than he usually does due to missing so many punches. Dapidran will be forced to think about how to land a punch, and then the fight gets slowed down.

Floyd by TKO in the 11th.

Good post...and once manny has those angles taken from him..he wont be able to slide under floyd and set up that big left hand like he did with ricky..

Manny wont't have the luxery of having a "full" defensive minded fighter like Clottey either...He'll have to worry about a lot quicker hands coming in return...

in relation to floyd comin over Pac's jab...thats probably all night...I think Floyd will use his jab more than ever in this fight to set up when he isn't coming over the top of mannies jab...

What is this? my keyboard is bigger than yours?, you have opened yourself up to quite a few questions , and you need to read the detail in a post.

Who was available instead of Clottey when they signed in December 2009 , it wasnt Mosley as he had signed to fight Berto, Floyd was in Semi retirement.

The last two floyd fought were 2 and 3 in the world on who's welterweight listing?

Floyd is Faster - ask Hatton coming off his best win against Paulie at his natural weight couldnt match Manny for one second in speed , but was able to keep up with Floyd for 6 rounds.

Floyd is stronger - Speak to JMM floyd fought an old man 15 lbs overweight and didnt really hurt him. Manny on the other hand has had Cotto , Hatton and Dela Hoya really hurt.

Floyd has better footwork - based on what example ? Manny squares more fighters up , fights longer in the pocket and spins off onto the right hook better than anyone.

I look at both fighters and what they have to offer , you seemed to offer only one argument which is too limited , I am a fan of both and offer a balanced argument . Yours is so full of holes it is pointless.

Er, thats called laying, not betting. I'll take you up on that.

You'd probably get about 200/1 for floyd to win specifically by uppercut KO so I'll put my $10 up against your $2000 and lets get this mother on!!:bbb

(Look it up if you don't understand any of the above)

Damn, this is the case of people sleeping on Pac again.

Floyd with his style has that percieved built in advantage on paper.

But do not be surprised when after three rounds youre all gawking into your TV set and thinking "Holy ****"!

The fight game isnt this simple.

Uhhh, I do understand. I am betting against the assertion, not the probability. Obviously I know it won't happen.

I used to pick Floyd by decision. Seeing Pac's last few fights I now see Pac by decision. Pac has the tools to beat Floyd: footwork, speed, power, angles, stamina, punch output, and now as we have seen the last few fights, a real good chin. All these tools can overcome Floyd's advantages.

Why is Floyd on vacation? Read previous paragraph. Pac is too prime at the moment. Floyd hoping to see a decline in speed from Pac. He's hoping Pac will age some by May 2011. If not, the vacation will continue.
