In part what makes this fight the one it is, is the intangibles. Its hard to predict a fight like this because of these intangibles. Floyd's defence is one of those things were we wont know how effective it will be versus pacquiao. If pacquiao can hit floyd consistently can floyd out gun him and still win. Will pacquiao be discouraged and become gun shy from getting countered? But the most important in my opinion is who is actually faster between the two? Can pacquiao overwhelm floyd's reflexes?

What if pacquiao doesnt engage mayweather as frequently as people are saying he will? Lets say pacquiao uses those quick feet and trys to 'steal' those rounds with quick flurries rather than fight mayweather. How will mayweather react? Lets not forget the cotto fight in round 4 where pacquiao just sat on the ropes and let miguel pound on him just to open cotto up. This fight could very well end up a chess match and a close decision.

 

Pac TKO mid - late rounds, believe it. He's a nightmare for Floyd right now. He does absolutely everything you can think of to bother Floyd, and he's a southpaw to boot. He has all of the intangibles as well. The fight will be one-sided.

NICE POST! I dont see any fighter taking a "chess match" type fight with Floyd...

Lets just assume that Pac does try and "box" with Floyd...I think he'll get picked apart...HE WOULD BE COMING OUT OF HIS FIGHT GAME FOR ONE AND "FIGHTING FLOYDS FIGHT"...

I think Pac's best chance is to make floyd "fight"....if he can get him to fight than he is the harder puncher and he will make floyd come out of that shell.....

first few rounds are close as each fighter adjusts to speeds neither one has seen before. pacs speed and odd angles force floyds conect % to drop into the 30s which promps floyd to fight on the inside more. the middle rounds will look good for floyd as he counters successfully against pacs constant aggression. the sheer volume of punches recieved will wear floyd down by the late rds. his fear of geting koed will make him quit on his stool and blame an injury. he will say how he was about to ko pac when he injured himself but in the rematch "pac is so dead". the *****s on esb take that as proof that floyd is the superior fighter "imagine what he would have done to pac if he hadnt ruptured his appendix in the 8th". the rematch makes half the money as most will see through floyds hustle.
