Marg was coming off an epic beating, had eye injury, was a non factor, had no plaster in the rematch, not enough? Cotto is coming off a loss, but he earned respect with how well he fought. He's much more mentally healthy now than he was the first time he fought Pacquiao. I think it would be a much different fight today.

It's if Pac gonna fight Cotto again, the only way to fairly assess how he compares to Floyd, is to fight Cotto under the same conditions Floyd fought him at. No catchweights no rehydration clauses or any other bull****. A straight up fight at the JrMW limit of 154 lbs. With 10oz gloves and same ring size. Afterward proper comparisons can be made. Until then its all speculation, opinions and fanboyism!

 

If this fight gets made, it won't be for comparison sake. It'll be cause it's the biggest money available. They won't lose 1% of the buyers if they make it 150.
