hypocrite. pac brutalized cotto first. by your logic that makes cotto damaged goods already (worse) by the time floyd touched him. suck on that.

brickfists brutalized cotto and his last fights at 147 proved this. at 154 be built himself up until he attained redemption by defeating the cheater. better conditioning, better team, better mindset = beast cotto at 154. the version pac never fought but money did. now, cotto might be damaged for real. he knows he lost in a clean match against a very clean top opponent. he went home crying, lol.

You judge a fighter based on his most recent performance. Win or loss does't mean anything. Cotto is amazing at 154, and a fight vs Pac without catch weight would be an amazing fight. Anything less than 154 and it's a bull **** fight.

This doesn't make sense. Cotto doesn't have a belt.

Does Pac still have his diamond belt at 154?

I just hope Pac fights him at 154 with no catch weight bs. That way he will leave no doubt if he wins.

I don't agree, he has no interest in fighting above 147 (150 max?). If he fights Cotto at 154, why is he ducking Sergio or Lara or some 172lb fight night guy. A Cotto fight is not worth breaking the principle for, not that intriguing. If Cotto doesn't want it at 150, no big loss, but I don't see why he wouldn't, if he thinks he has a chance. And it'd be very low on the catchweight badness scale: no titles at stake, a genuinely small guy vs a guy who will make the CW easy.

Floyd is apparently unwilling to fight the toughest guy in his 5th weight class, without a 150 cw. Pac is dicking around with cws in his 8th, he went a world record 6 before asking for one against a world class fighter he was given 0 chance against 12 months earlier.
