and don't talk about the 8th weight class and 5th weight class. Sergio is a 160 pounder and Floyd never weighed more than 151 pounds for a weighin. Pac was 105 pounds when he was 16 and the same with Floyd.
These guys aren't that far from eachother in size (Floyd and Pac)

 

Didn't Cotto's stature grow off that loss? Also, that's the fight that made him unshot. It's not big deal, just a money fight for Arum, no bragging rights.

And no, I don't think Floyd would get **** if Sergio lost well to Chavez, and Floyd fought him at 157 for no belt. Hell I'd give him more props than if he defended his belt vs the same guy at 154, which would also get props (tho a champ should be ready for any top challenger in his div). But I wouldn't give him any for dodging out of the fight at either weight.
