I agree with BOGART, Floyd must take on the elite in his weight class if he wants a true greatest of all time label. A Hatton fight is ok but wont add to his legacy much at this point. He needs to take on Margarito, Cotto, and / or Williams. Throw in a few more good fights before retiring at say age 35 then he might be the G.O.A.T.

By the way he has to win convincingly as well, he cant get by on SD's or possible screw jobs over these guys and expect to be considered better then the rest.

im just basing this off of pacman losing to de la hoya. although if pacman were to beat oscar impressively, then id say it be a pretty big fight. im pretty sure the fight doesnt happen at 135. i think the fight would probably take place at 147.

If he does come back and fights Margarito, then say PW and wins both.. How would you rank him as an ATG? Currently I see most people placing him at the 30-40 range... but a one time 130 Champ , gaining belts all the way up to 147 and against good competition would have to have him placed in the top 10? Maybe I am jumping the gun, but if He were to come back and beat a margarito and Williams I would be very very impressed

i have no confidence in manny having a chance vs floyd.......i just dont think he can hurt floyd and i think floyd can and would catch him, so margo would be the ideal choice, pick on someone your own size

if he were able to beat both margarito and williams, then i think hed be placed among a top 30 great easy. top 10? i'll just go on and say it, i think so. i believe pacman started his career out at 105 or somewhere in that area? and then to jump 40+ pounds and beat 2 top welterweights, that would be amazing.

I think if Pac wins over ODLH, Floyd will be the first in line to challenge Pac. Floyd won't have a Pac-Hatton on the premise that if Pac beats Hatton then a mega fight between Floyd and Hatton goes to drain in terms of $$$ receipt.
Floyd, at this point in time is reserving a Hatton fight as his last milking cow.
I'd expect a Floyd-Pac fight first if ever that Pac hurdles Hoya.
