My guess and I hope I'm wrong is that Mundine fights Waters (in what is deemed an Interim or WBA World Title fight) at JMW. Then Choc will fight Garth Wood at SMW and Danny Green at shall we say Light Cruiser.

Through current day proclamations of being a world titlist, wins in these fights could see Choc be a world champion in four divisions.

Let's hope this isn't the case is all I can say......

With their history of avoiding anything that resembles a contest, I doubt if they'll go near Green again. If they do though, the best opportunity in a while will be after Choc has a few decent meals in building up for Wood, which less face it is just another waste of time fight.

Are you for real? Mundine will never ever fight anyone elite again. Wake up. He'll beat Waters at 154, say he was drained, and go back to 160 to fight another bum. And you will justify it because "it's his first fight at a new weight".:lol::lol::rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch:patsch:patsch

I said the WBA will give Cotto until mid next year before he neds to fight a mandatory (whoever that may be)

WBA rules he should be fighting the mandatory well before then.

I cant see Mundine fighting at 154 for long and I cant see him fighting cotto even if he gets in position with the interim title win over waters.

Sounds like you see Green II on the not too distant horizon Ash - perhaps after Wood.

...what else is there if he keeps running from one division after the other?

I don't really see Green II either, as you'll see from about 3 or 4 posts back. Only reason I raised it just above is that you seem resigned to Choc not fighting for any serious titles ever, nor staying at 154 for very long.

I can't see where they are heading other than more fringe-dwelling at a higher weight.

Anyone who's played football or cricket at any level will be familiar with the guy who has the ability to play 1st grade, but prefers to play 2nd or even 3rd grade. These guys delight in big-noting and bullying weak opposition at a lower level than their own playing ability. They are often refered to as 'trophy hunters' because it's easy to collect trophies playing at a level below your ability, and they are usually amongst the least respected members at the club.

...sound like anyone we know mate, and I'm convinced that's why many Aussie's have so little respect for the guy's acheivements.

Waters is actually a step back from Medley let alone Geale.

Could even be a step back from Jerez, who at least has been in with some alright, recognizable fighters and has traveled before.

This is a joke they could justify this for an interim title..this should barely be for the PABA regional.
