So if Tank is special why he's fighting B and C level fighters all the time?

he done good. hes gonna need to do better if wants to be top dog at 140, imo. i like barrios, and i believe he can still do well. even pick up a strap again in the future, but his talent wasnt exactly causing a stir before the fight. i didnt take a critical look at him till the fight was announced, just cause he hadnt come up on my radar as a legit player in the top leagues. not a bad fight to test the waters 2 weights up, and he showed he can carry the power up, although not as explosively. we will see what this fight leads to.

 

Great post my man Bandeedo and very fair assessment. I had seen Barrios fight on a few PBC cards and made note of him. I liked what I saw. In fact when the match up with Tank was made my feeling was Tank cannot sleep on this guy and a Virgil hunter fighter you must be worried about. Even Leonard confirmed Barrios was not his choice. Barrios will definitely come again, I would bet on it.

 

The resumes of most top fighters are filled w/ b & c guys.

 

I don't see Tank being hyped. At least on ESB, which is the only site I visit. Nobody is calling him the best P4P, saying he's the best 135 ever or even now. What are people saying to overhype him?

 

So Kambosos was overhyped by beating Teofemo? Teo was drained. Morales was drained when he fought Pac, put an asterix next to that win same with the ODH win.
