Would it be as impressive and on par with Povetkin decision'ing Stiverne and going 9 and 11 rounds with Molina and Duhaupas respectively?

I wouldn't call Wilder's last two outings impressive at all. More impressed with the cherry picks than Wilder.

Wilder didn't need to fight Takam or Perez. He could fight (and beat) some decent fighters such as Glazkov, Jennings or even Teper (all ranked above Molina and Duhaupas by the WBC) and he'd be given the credit he deserves. He always opted in for the slow, fat mediocre boxers who had absolutely no chance against him. He deserves all the criticism he gets.

One thing for sure that stopping Duhaupas is more impressive than stopping Charr as Duhaupas is clearly the more skilled boxer with better chin and beat Charr with ease 98-92 having only 2 weeks to prepare.

It doesn't matter, because Povetkin also beat prime undefeated Eddie Chambers and a past-it but still good version of Chris Byrd.

The reason lots of experts are picking Povetkin to beat Wilder is the styles. Povetkin is faster and more skilled than the fatboys Wilder has been fighting.

To his credit Stiverne is still by far the best Wilder's opponent having 2 wins over Arreola as well as win over Austin and Franklin Lawrence.

    5 Wilder's best opponents

    1- Stiverne

2 - Duhaupas is the 2nd with 1 (one) good win over Charr

Molina a 3rd - decent wins over Tony Grano, Zambano Love (Joshua KO2 victim) and old and completely shot Davvaryl Williamson

4 - Malik Scott - took a dive. Need we to rank him? decent win over Bowe Tupou. Draw with Glazkov

5 - Lyakhovich - shot to ****. Wins over Brewster, Guinn and Ahunanya, all 7-10 years before Wilder fight.

Not true about Wawrzyk. Duhaupas beat Charr clearly, and Charr is better that Wawrzyk.

Doesn't matter though as Wawrzyk isn't top-10 Povetkin opponent (Wlad, old Byrd and Donald, Chambers, Boswell, Charr, Perez, Takam, Huck, Chagaev all better than poor Wawrzyk).

Wawrzyk is terrible. Molina and Duhaupas are clearly better.

That been said: Stiverne probably beats Charr, but loses to both Perez and Takam. They will outwork him easily. Stiverne has a small punchers chance.

Perez and Takam are also much better than Duhaupas and Molina.

I reckon Wawrzyk probably is better than Duhaupas and Charr. He's clearly better than Charr and Molina anyway.

it's unheard of that the challenger faces better opponents than the guy actually holding the belt

IMO Wilder just needs to cash out ... with Povetkin or Wlad.

He is what he is ... and got to where he is in a semi-dubious way. If he makes a fight that will lead to full unification, and in doing so makes enough $ to set himself and his kid up for life, then that's one thing.

If he tries to milk his title and gets KO'd by a contender, that's another thing altogether.
