its ******ed but thats how it it. Among casuals, Pacquiao gets more props for beating Ricky Hatton than Miguel Cotto.

I guess it depends on how things go. Clottey vs Judah was a live gate and ratings dud...but Clottey vs Cotto had the 3rd highest ratings for HBO boxing last year.

Pac bombed on PPV vs David Diaz with 225 K but Pacquaio is bigger name now. I'd guess it'll do under 500K. People forget that even DLH struggled to sell PPVs against lesser opponents.

i don't think, after beating Cotto in dominant fashion, fighting Khan/Maidana or Bradley will give him any props.

Clottey appears to be the tougher challenge in my eyes, especially knowing how tough of a fight he gave Cotto.

And how tough a fight did Cotto give Pac? Yes, I know the triangle inequality doesn't hold in boxing, but to the casual fan watching Pac fight a guy with no notable wins, who very recently lost to the guy Pac destroyed a few months ago, smacks of letdown.

At least with Bradley you have a guy who is a champion, a rising star, and unbeaten. That's a much easier sell.

Casual fans think Pacs hiding something and are not interested in the fight with "Clottey". Funny enough they are talking about Mayweather waiting to fight Mosley as they remember Mosley getting in the ring after the Marquez fight.

I think this is a somewhat risky fight for Pac. Clottey will come in weighing 20 pounds more than him...Clottey is stronger than Cotto. I don't know...I don't wanna see this ****ing fight. Why the **** couldn't May and PAc come to a ****ing agreement? Everytime Clottey is mentioned, it reminds me of what could have been.

Pacquiao was courting a certain level of worldwide supercelebrity with a potential Mayweather fight. That's over now.
