So I'm curious... what is everyone prediction for Cotto/Geale?

I'm hoping Geale by a decision...if he paces himself and fights smart...that's what I hope. Reality could be a bit different, but I'm wanting him to beat Cotto the Dodger soooo bad.

 

What Cotto is doing by avoiding GGG is as bad in it's own way as what Margarito did to him with the loaded gloves.

 

Lol at the excuses coming out already if Cotto wins.

How's that? I don't see any equivalence.

 

Cotto just won the belt, he has made no defenses yet. His last fight was in 2013. After more than a year layoff, the man is making an EZ defense against a top 2 GGG opponent, then having a mega fight with Canelo and retire.

What GGG is doing calling out midgets and expecting for handouts instead of fighting elite competition is even worse. The man's resume is a joke.

 

It's really the only outcome I can envision. We know what Cotto does. He bangs the body. In this case, a very weak body from making weight. Geale doesn't have the legs or power to hold Cotto off of him (my belief). The advantages goes to Cotto.

There are two polls running here and last check both had Geale running as favourite.

 

Geale had to literally starve himself for the final 36 hours to make weight and it has to be a factor.

 

Cotto to win a close UD, which may perhaps be controversial.

 

One gets the impression Geale would have to be dominant to expect even a draw with the huge money Cotto vs Canelo fight perhaps hinging on the result.

 

Geale by Quittage victory.

 

One expects Geale will have to knock Cotto out to get a draw.

 

It has that look about it. Tough call when you also had to starve to make weight.
