Bags of potential but needs to up his game and opposition before he stagnates.

I gave him a freebie for the Limond knockdown as I thought he had his feet poorly positioned and got caught with 2 or 3 decent punches and that can happen in boxing but the Gomez KD showed he has a poor chin. His legs were under him when he was caught and he was still floored and on ***** street.

My personal view is that when attacking he can be quite devastating putting together lovely combos with speed and decent power but his defence is terrible, if he were to spend time working on his defence rather than chasing a world title hed be a lot better off. If he built a decent defence he could hide his chin problems behind that. With a defence that bad and a dodgy jaw i dont think hell be able to mix with the big boys!

Too sum it up, great offensively, poor defensively with a suspect chin.

His offensive skills are simply awesome.
Being only 21 years old he has loads of time to sort out his defensive work, his chin isnt great but i dont think its grade a china.

If his defence is sorted out i think we got a future p4p contender on our hands, but its such a big IF.

I'll be fully supporting him and regardless of whether he'll reach his potential i'm sure he will come up with some memorable fights.

    GO AMIR :happy :happy

Would you prefer for him to chase a world title now or work on his defence for a bit first.
I think hes in a no win situation as if he doesnt fight better opponents each time he gets slated but each time theyll make him look worse getting him slagged off too!

Personally, I'd prefer he went away and worked with someone like Floyd Sr if possible on his defence.

I think it's clear to see he's not ready for a world title shot yet, a loss could be a good learning curve, but he's in such a strong division and the only 2 routes to a world title atm are Campbell and Pacman, who would both knock him out brutally and that would probably do a lot of damage to his career.

First off he needs a coach that will sure is defense up some one like Floyd Mayweather snr. Then he might have a pop at being a world champ.

He's getting slated because of the things he says.

When he says he thinks he's ready for a title shot and fights blown up sf's he makes himself look silly.

Shut up or back it up !!!
