So is Andy Lee a hype job?

    He was really up against it vs Chavez, we've seen before that he can be bullied when pressured on the inside and that's exactly what Chavez is all about. He has solid skills that wee also displayed that night too.

    He's no hype job was his style fits what Chavez wants to do perfectly. He stands in front of you, isn't as big and even though is a hard puncher, didn't have the power to hurt Chavez.

    OP, no offense, but you sound like someone who has never actually been in the ring like that. Lee fought very well, but his opponent maintained constant pressure followed by some good bodyshots, which will drain you quickly. Add to that that Lee's stamina seemed subpar, and he couldn't keep up his boxing long enough to win the decision. I think Lee looked very good if you excuse his stamina and inability to keep a cruiserweight off of him. If he can fight a Macklin, Pirog, or someone of that sort and keep his workrate and energy up for the course of a decision, he will be a serious contender and a threat to anyone not named Martinez.
