Check your hate at the door please

#1 Bradley was poised to fight #2 Khan, who lost to Peterson, which essentially makes Peterson the new #2 and Khan #3. Bradley already beat Peterson in a wide decision, so does that make him the man at the weight or must he beat him again to be considered so?

but, yeah...as far as 140...being khan squeaked by maidana and then looked like a big pile of amateur **** while losing to peterson...i think bradley at 1 is safe

No It is an Unmanned division. Bradley Peterson Khan are the top dogs, one just got exposed so only 2 men left to decide the man at 140, Marquez moving down and that Man named Peterson may just be replaced.

The Man...the champ....the lineal champ...titleholder....for ****'s sake. Do we need to invent another term or 'unofficial title' now? There's no World Champ (only ONE World champ per division, rest are title holders, and title holders are no more then top contenders...anyway).

But as of right now, Bradley should probably be ranked highest at 140. But there's no recognized World champ yet.

Guys u gotta answer the second part lol- since being the man at the weight has to do with #1 beating #2,

does he have to beat Peterson again to be considered the man? Or Khan even though he just lost and subsequently considered number 3?

Also consider that before, Bradley was #1 and Alexander was #2 when they fought

    No

Bradley CLEARLY ducked Khan, the fact that someone else manned up, fought and beat the Man Bradley was ducking does not make bradley "the man"

the division has no "the man"

Bradley is perhaps "number one contender" to the vacant "the man" title right now

    Yes in that he's #1.

No if we are talking about lineages.

I guess it is fair to say Bradley is no 1. Stylewise I think Kahn wins in a fight between the two of them.

So you don't think the problems he had with his old promoter had something to do with that ?

He joined Top Rank and said he wanted Khan. Didn't Khan say no ?

Now Khan lost to Peterson, Khan has to go in another direction.

Isn't the WBO Welterweight champion of the world going to be fighting at 140 very soon?

    If so, no.

Aside from that...it's hard to say

    Khan was just beat

Bradley dealt with the man who beat him, but he ducked Khan himself in truly shameful fashion, you can't be the top dog in a division when you run away from another fighter
