    Why do you feel that?
You have to look at overall resumes and Joshua has won 3 titles, won unifications, beaten more reigning title holders and I think has greater wins than Wilder with his wins over Klitschko, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz

How many title defences did Wilder have ? How many did Joshua have ?

Wilder until facing Fury in fight 2 always found way of getting the win, that is fact, he had many deficits but compensated for that with the one punch power, and to have compensated enough to win and defend the WBC belt the number of times he did, sure does not make him a bum.

The level of opposition is open to debate, but that can be said for other champs too even Dempsey.

Wilder found way to win as did Marciano, skilled boxers they were not, winners they were.

Anyway if i had won a world professional title i frankly would not care in slightest what you called me, as long as you did not pay me journey man purses.

Did you feel Fury was lineal champ going into his fight with Wilder or lineal champ now he has beaten Wilder or not any of those things?

Fury is definitely on the super heavy Mount Rushmore with Lewis and the Kbros after last night.

Tier two is Deontay and Bowe.

(Not counting Foreman and dead guys.)

Not sure what comparison you are trying to make really as one won a world title in only their 16th fight whereas the other in their 33rd fight.
One had been involved in 2 unifications as a champion and the other hadnt.
One had faced overall far greater competition imo

    One is -
8-1 in world title fights but only had 24 fights
    the other is
10-1-1 in world title fights but had 44 fights

I was in agreement with the Ring and TBRB, Fury at #1 and Wilder #2. The new lineage started yesterday.

I also think Fury's resume now easily superior to Joshua's and he's a superior overall fighter to him, but that's besides the point.

All that being said, Wilder probably dodged a bullet back in 2016, when Povetkin ****ed it up. Sasha's pressure would've spelled more trouble for him than Ortiz' counter punching did.

@CST80 Just watched the fight was at work all morning long. Of course you make sense with this. Clearly if Wilder is a bum then Fury is nothing special and does not deserve much credit. And to give Fury credit you must concede (if you're a hater) that Wilder was in fact a dangerous foe.

My answer to this is the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I picked Wilder by KO, but it was with my heart and not my brain. I'm a bigger fan of Wilder and I don't like Fury. Sure he's charismatic and can be funny, but he skeeves me the **** out. Gives me the heebie jeebies. He's just a weird dude.

That said, I think the answer is somewhere in the middle. Wilder was exposed as definitely not a top level fighter, but not quite exactly a bum either. He is what he is. A decent fighter with great power with obvious limitations.

He is this generation's Naseem Hamed. The first top notch fighter they fought in their prime just totally humiliated them with vastly superior skills and technique. Just flat out embarrassed them because of how inferior they were to the top echelon of fighters.

Whereas Hamed's top win was a past prime Kevin Kelley. Wilder's best win was a 57 year old Cuban or 36 year old Sitverene. Once they found themselves in the ring with a true top level fighter in their prime they were just so far over their head.

How do you start a lineage by pissing hot, being stripped of your titles, ducking a rematch, and retiring for years?

Anthony Joshua established himself as the best fighter in the division with the best record after Klitschko retired. He took the belts and defended them against the best contenders. This is his reign as the most dominant heavyweight.

If Fury wants the lineal title back, he can fight Otto Wallin again for it.

I rate Fury above Joshua though think an argument could be made for Joshua, but personally rate Fury above.

Now going by our previous conversation why would you have had wilder at #2?
When with the ring ratings Joshua has beaten 4 of the other fighters in the rings top 10 compared to 1 for Wilder?
