    No - he would have been knocked out or stopped by a man who has finished his last few oppenents in the same manner and who is considered a puncher.

    Should he have been knocked senseless by Chris Byrd, then yes.

    The issue is not WHO's doing the knocking out, but how badly and how many times a fighter gets knocked out. And Rahman's got both on his glass jaw ledger. He'll get his fifth tonight.

    Any fighter can punch. Glass jawed fighters are the ones who get knocked unconscious, multiple times.

    Rahman is a classic example of this. Grade A china.

    The telltale sign of a glass jaw is HOW a fighter gets knocked out, not WHO does it. When it happens multiple times against different fighters, it's a lock.:yep

    And given that the mediocre Maskaev did it twice, that pretty much closes the deal. Other than Rahman, Maskaev's KOs are all over nobodies. Rated fighters usually knocked HIM out, EXCEPT Glass-Jawed Rahman.

    Again Maskaev has power...as does WLAD.

    A KO is more a reflection of their power, than of Rock's chin.

    the fact that feather fisted james Toney could hurt Rahman tells me his Chin is crap. Toney has NO power at Heavyweight.

    Again, name me a rated fighter, with a decent chin, who Maskaev knocked out, other than Rahman.

    Maskaev's "power" is a myth, largely based on his knocking out Glass-Jawed Rahman.

    Maskaev got to where he was based on pure technique and natural boxing ability, not power...:rofl

    You're avoiding the question!! Because there isn't a single rated fighter, with a decent chin, who Maskaev ever knocked out. There's a REASON for that.

    No that's not the issue...You point to Rock's MULTIPLE KOs, and base your entire case on Maskaev not having power.

    Firstly, he does. Secondly, even if that was questionable you know better than to dispute anyone else's power that has put him down.

    Maskaev got to where he is based on pure technique and ability Zakman, since he as you say, has no power...:yep

    Wow, predicting a KO of Rahman at the hands of the a very hard punching heavyweight who is the best fighter in his division.
    Yeesh, really going out on a limb there OP.

    Can we expect you to show up on this board after this fight bragging about your predictive abilities when a majority of fight fans are making the exact same prediction as you?
