if oscar takes on cotto then i'll give him a lot of respect but i dont think he will risk his golden boy looks.

He's not retired. Think "Money May" will will pass on another 20 mill for an easy fight? Although this wouldn't be the first time he's passed on big money for a 'easy' fight.

He will return for an easy fight with Oscar and retire for good without facing Cotto.

i never said he ducked anyone but at this stage of his career it would be a brave move for him to take on a fighter like miguel cotto.

Wow. Seems to me he's retired as of now. To be fair though the guy has repeated his willingness to retire every chance he gets for the past two years. He'll be back but it probably won't be against DLH unless DLH beats Cotto and is still hanging around. I think DLH will retire for good as well.

Oscar is if anything a brave man. We're going to see Oscar vs winner of Cotto/Margarito by end of year. The good thing is it will be a good fight as they are better matched stylistically than DLH/Mayweather.

I would rather he retire now than face just De La Hoya.

However, why not wait until Cotto and Margo fight before making this decision. If Cotto wins convincingly, PBF's decision to retire instead of facing Miguel will always be questioned. Floyd must realize that. For a guy who seems to be intensely concerned about his legacy, he must know that it stands to be tarnished somewhat if the Cotto fight doesn't happen.
