Why would he when he could move up to 200+ and knock out Wlad?

Anything is possible and Donaire has the frame to move up further but would I bet on him being succuessful at 140lbs? No chance.

A few years back the General had "Pavlik at Cruiserweight" threads. That didn't pan out too well, did it?

I don't think Khan has anything to do with it. The question is does Donaire have the capability to compete at 140 lbs in the future? My answer would be don't rule anything out, these things are not as seemingly impossible as they once were and Donaire has some of the qualities you'd want. It's a long way off at the moment.

The guy is 28 so I can't see him getting upto 140lb in the same way as Pacman

I can see him having success up to 130, perhaps, but not 140. I wouldn't rule it out but I'd say 140 is unlikely.

And as for KOing Khan, even if he could get up to 140 Khan will be at least 147 by then if not 154.

Not a chance in hell, even if he could move up he wouldnt be able to beat Khan.

Slow process but he has the ability and body type to carry weight well i'd think. Maybe when he's about 30-31 you see him near 140. Maybe Lightweight/Super Feather...but i wouldn't rule 140 out with him because he's extremely talented and excels in areas of game that makes him a special fighter.

by the time he reaches lightweight (thats if he reaches it), khan may well be out of the game

****in fast hands there, probably as fast or faster than Khans, if he can carry the speed and agility up with him, he could be in with a decent/good chance....looks to have better body mechanics in his punches than Khan, so could theoretically have better power than Khan at 140
