U mad kid? Do I need to dumb it down for you? I just want to alleviate your frustrations for not being able to debate with me. Your level is basic....It's easy for me to go there... but it's next to impossible for you to leap up to my level. I'm only trying to help. I don't know ****?:rofl You're ****in silly.
you are exactly what you think you are not: basicatsch you making that clever person mistake of thinking your more clever than everyone else
youre only talking like that cause cause your hero floyd was not in that specific situation, however he failed the weight in his catch fight LOL:good And it has always happened in "your sport" that you dont know **** all about ****
WTF?:rofl consult me before you hit "submit" to avoid coming off like your simple. Your simple as basic can get.:rofl
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1137975/index.htm "Facing him was the 29-year-old Whitaker, with a record of 32-l with 15 KOs, the one loss the product of a dubious bit of ringside sleight of hand. He was the stylistic antithesis of Cháveza southpaw, clever and quick-footed, with a bobbing, crouching, mobile style that made him an elusive target. Whitaker has also held five titles in three weight classes (he retained his WBC welterweight crown as dubious consolation for this draw), and his 12-round decision over Buddy McGirt on March 6 set up the match with Chávez. This content is protected , but there was a good deal more at stake. "This is for the best fighter, pound for pound," said Whitaker, a U.S. Olympic gold medal winner in 1984. "We may be fighting for my title, but that's not what everyone is talking about. This is like going for the gold again."
obviously it depends on the situation...if both fighters can make the weight comfortably and it's not a title fight then catchweight fights are fine but not when the situation favors one party.
haha there you go. as expected, this was nothing more than another paranoid bitching insecure ***** thread. :rofl
I know that. My point is 145 title fight was good enough for Whitaker and Chavez, 2 boxing legends, it's good enough for Pacquiao and Cotto. :good
For the two catch weight fights PAC had Marg and Cotto were fine and NOT drained for their fights. It's only an excuse to ease the pain of losing by fans. Cotto said his weight was fine...that he wasn't drained...that 145 was NO problem. Marg had almost ALL his fights at 147 before the PAC fight and going up to 151 to fight a guy he out weighs by over 20 pounds on any given day isn't really a disadvantage for Tony. When is fighting a bigger man EVER in favor of the smaller man?
