So, is McGuigan right? Is Froch the best SMW in the world, save Calzaghe?

I think he is alongside Bute, Andrade and maybe Mundine if he stays at 168 but clearly behind Kessler. Although you'd have to say, these guys are more proven, but I still believe he is at their level

He just beat an undefeated polish monster!
I think he is at least better than woods just now.

No. He's got strength, power and ok accuracy but anyone with halfway decent skills should do for him. Kessler would be a massacre. I even think Bute would beat him.

I like Froch, but hes way to open, with his low hands and when he throws a punch. I think hed prob get nailed against Kessler.

He actually said Calzaghe could well be capable of beating any fighter in history, not that Joe Calzaghe could never be beaten and is invincible.

The fight I watched tonight, Carl did as well as usual, and got tagged as usual, both with the right over the top, the left hook and the straight left. But what do I know. McGuigan is a legend. He's watched Bute and Kessler and the man knows what he's seen - Froch is better!

Mikkel Kessler, Lucian Bute, and Anthony Mundine are all better than Froch in my honest opinion.
