Just look at this. Look at the first two pages - http://www.boxingforum24.com/search.php?searchid=2777296&pp=25

Nafflad has been registered since August 2012 and has started 217 threads.

Look at the pattern! He barely comments in anybody else's thread (or even his own when he starts it) and starts a thread literally everytime he has a brain fart. :-(

I think it will do moderately well- 300k buys or so. Although it's a 50/50 fight it's not exactly caught the public's like a Hatton fight would. The promotion has been lacklustre bar the last few days. Not sure how many PPVs Sky could get away with per year especially if BT Sport start bidding for boxing.

British PPV has very rarely, and certainly not recently, been a case of the best fighting the best. As good as this fight is you can only say its nearly the best fighting the one just below him.....and a garbage undercard

What would the motivation be to any promoter putting on a stacked undercard when people will pay out their money for a very ordinary undercard

I think it'll do alright, Froch has never been a household name but he's got to be considered our best fighter at the moment and it's got the big hype push from Sky. A few years ago shite like Khan vs ***in was on ppv which had no grounds to be, this is a big fight, and they have to cover the purses somehow. If they're paying both in the region of 2 million quid each which is what I keep hearing they'll never make that back from ticket sales and adverts for Platinum lace around the ring, the moneys got to come from somewhere or there's no fight.

Let's be honest, Rob has already decided this will be a great success whatever the numbers.

if they're a success...they need give kugan cassius & his ifilm london crew a big share!
they hyped this thing up bigtime!

11. it will be a success, if it was next week instead it would be even bigger due to the champions league final.

its the most advertised boxing fight ive ever seen on sky tbh

Dont really see a return of regular SBO as being realistic.

Khan-Mayweather fair enough if it happens next year, but Khan isnt with Matchroom so its not their concern.

Froch-Ward II if he wins would be realistic as PPV

They wont get away with putting Froch-Groves or Haye vs anybody on Box office. If they try they are back to their own scummy ways and will crash and burn as before.

Basically you've got 3 fights that PPV could be an option

Khan - Mayweather (Dont have Khan)
Froch - Ward II (In England especially)

And possibly

Haye-Fury which would be a massive fight. Its actually at a stage where I think Haye vs Klitschkos would be a total flop after what happened the first time.

13. How many buys would make it a success ?

Massive success the sky fella I was talking to when booking said the same thing. Huge demand.
Has to be said Sky have done a super job promoting the fight.

Because Sky employees are bound to be objective sources.
