You're not seriously expecting them to 'do the right thing', are you? This is boxing, my friend. BTW, i see no point in a rubber match, justifiable though it may be. It probably won't establish anything we don't already know, and it will only take something away from these guys that they don't have a lot left of; time.
So they've had a draw and a ND; I suppose the next fight will be a NC? Maybe a double-DQ? A double KO?
Rahman clearly stated a few days after the fight that he does not want fight Toney again. Instead his promoter declared that he will take on " bigger challenges" such as Haye or this young guy Areola. After he quit in the third round, that is another coward move. Even in the 3 rounds Toney proved that he has more left in the tank.
I can't see them ever fighting again. I wouldn't want to see it either if I'm being honest. I'd rather see Rahman fight Haye and Toney move on and fight someone else.
you think Toney would land a headbutt that would cause a cut over Rahman's eye before the 4th round again?
Have Toney Rahman 3 with an extra bonus of an Audley Harrison/Danny Williams rematch on the undercard.
No I dont. I think Rahman would find a different way to quit, when Toney dominates him. There is no point for the third fight. We already know who is clearly superior fighter
Rahman wants no part of Toney now, he quit in the rematch why would he fight Toney again? I don't want to see Rahman-Toney III anyway, we all know who won that rematch despite the official 'result' anyways.
I also see no need, really, for a third fight, when there seems to be little interest in it. These two are just not very exciting against each other.............It'd be a waste of time, and would probably end up being very boring, as well. Move on...
